The READINESS Method: Seeing Your Patterns, Choosing Your Path*

Anxiety without cause. Feelings of dread during ordinary life. Overthinking every possible outcome. Working yourself too hard, achieving your material goals—yet still feeling restless and uncertain….

Are you struggling with any of this? The READINESS Method is one option that could make a difference.

Why READINESS Can Help

We grow up shaped by our experiences—lack of resources, strict households, inflexible attitudes, and the pressure to be what others expected. These conditioned patterns become unconscious and dictate how we live. We earn, succeed, get married, and do all the things—but somehow, contentment doesn’t follow. Only restlessness and stress remain, even when we’re supposed to be at rest.

Your unconscious standards drive automatic energy use. Your brain is always ready and reacting, and you believe these movements are urgent and real. You follow them, get what you desire, and call it a win—even though it wears you out.

But endless movement is what drains you. You can’t sit with any moment or achievement because life triggers the need to follow mental movement again and again. It’s a loop that never ends.

READINESS shows you the loop, clarifies it, and makes it optional.

The Acronym Teaches:

R – Recognition with Calm – helps you see the pattern without getting stressed.

E & A – Endurance and Acceptance – helps you experience it without following the movement.

D – Discerning the Danger – of following habitual mental movement helps you get on track to breaking the habit and saving energy.

I – Investigation – helps you see the triggers, the ways you burn energy on reactions, and the subconscious programs that force you to act again and again. Socratic questioning reveals that these programs are harming you—not helping.

N, E, S & S – Not Self, Empty, Source of Suffering, Subject to Change – these four insights reframe the program as the old plan. It becomes a suggestion, your brain’s version of a burp. You don’t need to burn energy on demand. You can choose to settle with what is and save yourself from burnout.

What the Book Offers

– Step-by-step guidance for recognizing unhelpful reactions and assumptions.
– Practical tools to meet discomfort with choice, not automatic reaction.
– A 114-page PDF with instructions, examples, and exercises.
– A clear path for rewiring—but rewiring requires regular use of the skills over time. The book gives you the map; consistent practice builds the new neural pathways.

1:1 Support

The author offers personal sessions to help you explore the framework, ask questions, and apply the method to your specific situation. [Learn more about 1:1 sessions and availability here.]

Important Note

This method requires introspection and reflection, which may not be suitable for all readers. Changing habits takes effort and time—and lasting change comes from regular, repeated application of the skills. Results depend on personality, mental health, circumstances, understanding, consistency, and practice. See full disclaimer for details.
